Who: HandyDART Riders Alliance members and supporters
Why: The Mayors’ Council Plan includes 30% more HandyDART service. HandyDART service levels have been frozen for over five years – causing service deterioration so severe the BC Auditor General is considering an investigation.
“If we don’t win, we will probably get cuts to HandyDART service and that would be unthinkable,” says HandyDART Riders’ Alliance spokesperson Beth McKellar. “We hope that we will win the referendum and get 30% more HandyDART vans on the road.”
