He also announced that a new HandyDART advisory committee will include HandyDART riders.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA public sector comparator has been a long standing request of the HRA and we are very pleased that Mr. Desmond has welcomed our proposal. We are confident that an independent study involving HandyDART riders will show that cost savings and better service can be realized by TransLink providing the service directly\u201d says Louis. \u201cBut the growing population of seniors means the number of people with disabilities is increasing twice as fast as the rest of the population, and service levels are already inadequate.
