Yes & No Sides discuss what to do after the transit referendum: \"HandyDART<\/a><\/strong>
\nHandyDART riders host dialogue in Maple Ridge<\/strong><\/p>\n

What: A public dialogue on transit for an accessible and age friendly region, regardless of the outcome of the transit referendum.<\/p>\n

When: Saturday April 18,\u00a0 11 am to 1pm<\/strong><\/p>\n

Where: Ridge Meadows Seniors Society: 12150 – 224th Street Maple Ridge<\/strong><\/p>\n

Who: Maple Ridge Councillors Gordy Robson (No) & Craig Speirs (Yes), HandyDART Riders Alliance members and supporters, Selina Robinson MLA and Dr. Doug Bing MLA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Why: HandyDART service hours have been frozen since 2009, and as a result trip denials went up over 600% before the contractor changed procedures to disguise the crisis.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere will be a 30% increase in HandyDART service with a Yes vote,\u201d says Beth McKellar, HandyDART Riders\u2019 Alliance spokesperson. \u201cBut what happens to HandyDART if the No side wins?\u201d<\/p>\n
